Ever wanted to learn how to line dance?
I’ve had the pleasure of attending many after-rodeo, after-trail, and after-horse show dances in my life, and being a fan of dance, have had an awesome time line dancing with friends. I hear so many people say, “Can you teach me how to do that?” or “How does that go?” or “Where did you learn to dance like that?”. The answers: yes, like this …, and on the floor over many years.
But, it doesn’t have to take a lifetime to learn line dancing. Fortunately, for those who are eager to learn, I’m offering a fast track to line dancing fun. Starting February 13 at 6:30 PM, I’ll be teaching line dance lessons at the Chelsea Community Center in Chelsea, Alabama.
Dancers can expect to learn a variety of dances from beginner to intermediate levels, depending on class experience and needs, during the hour-long class. Along with line and round dances, dance terms and floor etiquette will be taught. Classes take place every Monday night.
Line dance is not only fun, it’s good for you! The benefits:
- Increases physical fitness
- Decreases risk of disease
- Improves mental acuity
- Reduces stress
- Develops social fellowship
Class passes will be available for $20 a month ($5/class; best deal) or pay $10 per walk-in class. For more information, call Becca Salamone at 205-677-6070.
